Special Announcements of interest to the Parents of the JCC Sailfish

Dear Swim team Parent

Support Committee forming

At the spring award night I ask for volunteers to do some of the work needed to operate the team more efficiently and get information out in a timely manner. The following is a list of positions, some are filled.  Please email Al at jccs@jccsailfish.org with the position you volunteer to do. I will have a meeting at the Family Park on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 7:15 PM during practice.

Team and AMS registration                  Open

Getting information on all swimmers, USA/AMS membership, transfers swimmers
from other clubs, collect registration fees.

Travel                                                        Open

Get rooms, Vans, Buses as need for out of town meets

Swim a thon                                             Open

Apply for with USA swimming –send info to swimmers – collect money – send
results to USA swimming – work with team apparel for awards

Award night                                             Open

Work with Mary Beth (aquatic Director) and Al

AMS Representative                              Open

Need parent to attend meeting when we need to vote (Dan Smith is on
executive committee and cannot vote for team)

Swim Meet                                               Open

Assistant to meet director (Diane Conner this is her last year) and learn
meet system.
